About The Position

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Work with administrators and instructional teams to plan and implement hands-on programs and activities for students.
  • Participate as an active member with other OACS faculty and staff.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to plan, implement, and evaluate programs for school improvement.
  • Manage the classroom and supervise the proper care of school equipment used.
  • Engage in personal professional growth activities focused on acquiring new skills and knowledge.
  • Diagnose and analyze student progress to provide appropriate instruction.
  • Utilize a variety of instructional techniques to meet individual student needs.
  • Incorporate technology and current research into instruction.
  • Evaluate students' progress regularly.
  • Implement classroom management techniques conducive to an effective classroom climate.
  • Promote student self-esteem and sensitivity to students, parents, and the community.
  • Maintain professional relationships with parents and encourage their involvement in school activities.
  • Keep accurate records, including grade books and attendance records.
  • Assist in the protection of students and school property.
