About The Position

Works collaboratively with English Language Arts content supervisor and Executive Director of Humanities with assigned responsibilities to implement and manage the policies, regulations, and procedures of the Board of Education to ensure that all students meet or exceed the State Student Learning Standards, following the approved curricula and directives of the school district. Achieving academic excellence requires that the COLA Teacher Coach work collaboratively to lead and nurture members of the school staff and to communicate effectively with teachers in grades 8 through 12. Inherent in the position are the responsibilities of professional development of literacy content knowledge and pedagogy specific to the secondary grade levels. Requirements

  • NJDOE Certififcation (preferred Teacher of English or Middle School Language Arts).
