About The Position
San Joaquin County Office of Education located in Stockton, CA is a regional agency that provides educational leadership, resources, and customized services to assist school districts. San Joaquin County Office of Education (SJCOE) employs over 2,100 classified and certificated employees. SJCOE promotes student achievement and accountability, serves San Joaquin County's most at-risk students, and strives to create an environment in which every student, regardless of circumstances, has an opportunity for a quality education. The one. Program has established a CARE classroom at Delta Sierra Middle School, designed to support up to twenty-two (22) 7th and 8th grade students who faced academic challenges in the previous school year. These students are dually enrolled in both the CARE program and Delta Sierra Middle School. The classroom is self-contained, with the teacher responsible for delivering instruction in four core subjects. The teacher will utilize curriculum and technology provided by Delta Sierra Middle School. Building positive relationships with students and their families will be essential to the success of the program.
