About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated Teacher Assistant to support instructional delivery and classroom management in a dynamic school environment. This role involves assisting teachers with daily lesson execution, supporting student development, and maintaining a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom atmosphere.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or coursework in education preferred
• Prior experience working with children (school, daycare, tutoring, or youth programs) preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a classroom setting
• Patient, reliable, and student-focused approach

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of child development or special education is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers with lesson plans, classroom activities, and group instruction
• Provide individualized academic, social, and behavioral support to students
• Monitor student behavior and performance, offering guidance and positive reinforcement
• Prepare and maintain classroom materials, supplies, and learning resources
• Support the use of classroom technology and instructional tools
• Supervise students during class, transitions, lunch, recess, and dismissal
• Assist with grading, recordkeeping, and documentation as needed
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student progress
• Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment aligned with school standards
