Position: Teacher Assistant Location: Curtis Center – Methodist Home for Children Schedule: Full-time Monday - Friday Compensation: Based on experience What You’ll Do: Support classroom activities that promote a child-centered, engaging learning environment Work alongside dedicated educators to meet high standards of care and education Maintain compliance with child development regulations and safety guidelines Communicate effectively with the team to support each child’s growth Participate in training and professional development opportunities What You Bring: High School Diploma or GED At least 1 year of experience working with young children (preferably in a childcare center) Ability to pass background checks including DCDEE screening and fingerprinting Enthusiasm, dependability, and a heart for children Why Join Us? Requirements
