About The Position

MAHUBE-OTWA is hiring caring individuals, with a strong independent initiative and excellent attendance to work in our Mahnomen Early Head Start Center as a Teacher Assistant. Requirements

HS Diploma (or GED) plus Technical/Vocational certificate
Willingness to attain CDA
Knowledge of early childhood development and developmentally appropriate practices for the classroom is essential
Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
Basic math skills
Ability to apply common sense solutions in standardized situations
Ability to work in a positive and cooperative manner with children, staff and parents
Ability to effectively and professionally deal with typical and unexpected classroom situations
Ability to honor private/confidential information
Basic computer skills including working with e-mail, internet, data entry, computer files, databases and/or web-based programs
Valid drivers’ license
DHS Net Study clearance required
