About The Position
Provide assistance and support to classroom teacher in establishing and implementing a therapeutic classroom program reflecting the needs of the student as specified in the students Individual Educational Plan (IEP). Benefits eligible; medical, dental, vision and life insurance. Accrued sick and paid leave time. Eligible for 401K plan after 60 days. Follows 9 month Academic calendar and optional ESY program Monday-Friday, 8:45am-2:45pm $21.50/hr plus additional stipend for classroom coverage
Requirements
- Bachelor degree required.
- Professional Educator License (PEL) or specialized training in the field of human services preferred.
- Must be eligible to obtain a substitute teaching license.
