About The Position

We are seeking Teacher Assistants to join our team of caring professionals and provide services for children in our Pre-School. EXCELLENT BENEFIT PACKAGE!! GENEROUS TIME OFF AND HOLIDAYS!! School Calendar - 32 1/2hr work week plus 6-week summer program!!

Requirements

• Minimum 6 college credits and Initial Teacher Assistant Certification.
• Required exam-NYS Assessment of Teaching Assistant Skills (ATAS)

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the individual goals for each student as mandated on the IEP under the supervision of the classroom teacher.
• Assist in classroom management during large and small group activities.
• Assist the classroom teacher in preparing for all classroom activities.
• Assist the teacher in all classroom planning and instruction throughout the day.
• Assist the students with daily living skills as needed.
