About The Position

Circle Academy, a non-public special education school serving youth ages 5-21, has locations in Champaign County and Vermilion County. We are currently hiring Teacher Assistants for the Urbana and Rossville location. The Teacher Assistant contributes to the educational experience by supporting certified special education teachers and students in the classroom environment. The Teacher Assistant will help create a structured, nurturing classroom that fosters academic and social growth. Successful Teacher Assistants enjoy working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. Prospective Teacher Assistants must be at least 21 years old, have excellent written and oral communication skills, and be able to maintain our clients’ confidentiality. Requirements

ISBE Para-Professional license is required
Must be at least 21 years old
Have excellent written and oral communication skills
Be able to maintain our clients’ confidentiality
Candidates must also submit to a pre-employment physical and background check
