About The Position
The Teacher Assistant, SPED Behavior is responsible for providing behavioral support to individual students and groups under the direction of a certified classroom teacher, in accordance with the Campus Behavior Support program. This role involves assisting with the implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans, teaching coping and social skills, and monitoring student behavior to maintain classroom discipline. The assistant will also participate in meetings regarding student progress and support the objectives of the campus improvement plan.
