About The Position

KVC Academy Lebanon is seeking a dedicated Teacher Assistant to assist special education teachers in providing individualized instruction and support to students with special needs. The role involves creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment, supporting students with their daily activities and educational tasks, and collaborating with teachers, therapists, and other staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs). The Teacher Assistant will also participate in classroom management and behavior intervention strategies, as well as monitor and document student progress and performance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• 36 college credit hours preferred.
• Teacher Assistants are expected to apply for their substitute teaching certification within 60 days of hire.
