About The Position

A Special Education Teacher Assistant/Office Assistant, Pathways Charter School is responsible to the County Superintendent and works under the direct supervision of the designated manager(s). The Special Education Teacher Assistant/Office Assistant, Pathways Charter School assists general and special education students and provides clerical and general office assistance. Requirements

  • Must currently have or must obtain CPR/First Aid certification within 60 days of employment.
  • Must possess a typing certificate for 40 net wpm issued within the last two years.
  • Experience working with elementary-ages students.
  • Completion of 60 Semester Units (2 years of study) at an institution of higher education
  • Possession of an Associate's Degree or Higher
  • Passing of a local assessment in Reading/Writing and Mathematics (which will be conducted on the day of the interview)
  • If hired, must provide proof of a valid California Driver's License

Nice To Haves

  • Previous general office assistance preferred.
