Teacher Assistant, IST K-2
About The Position
Eustis Heights Elementary School Teacher assistant for self-contained IST-B classroom grades Kg-2nd grade. You will support the classroom teacher in providing specialized instruction and behavioral support to students in an IST-B (Intensive Support for Behavior) setting for grades Kindergarten through 2nd. This role assists with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), reinforcing academic skills, modeling positive behaviors, and supporting social-emotional development. The assistant helps maintain a structured, safe, and nurturing learning environment while providing small-group and one-on-one support to meet students’ academic and behavioral needs. Collaboration with teachers, specialists, and families is essential to ensure student growth and success.
