Teacher Assistant Floater Give children a head start! This position is set to begin on April 13th Work Scheduled for 40 Hours a Week Please note: CPCD’s Preschool program operates August–May. Candidates interested in Preschool-only, part-year positions (Aug–May) will be interviewed in June and July. We are currently prioritizing applicants open to year-round schedules, able to work with both Infants/Toddlers and Preschool, or those available to work this summer with Infants/Toddlers before transitioning to a part-year Preschool schedule in August. Job Description: Assists classroom Team in maintaining a safe, healthy, high-quality learning experiences and environments that advances the development of the whole child. Complies with all CPCD policies and procedures, Head Start Performance Standards, Colorado Department of Human Services licensing requirements and the Colorado Quality Standards for Early childhood Education Services. Facilitates a balance of group and individualized experiences to promote the development of school readiness skills as defined by CPCD’s School Readiness Action Plan. Teacher Assistant Floater will be required to travel among classrooms/sites as directed by the CD Supervisor.
