In anticipation of future openings, the Catholic schools of the Diocese of Dallas are seeking interested, qualified teachers who are able to teach a variety of courses and secondary grade levels. The potential positions will be for the 2025-2026 Academic Year. The candidate will be a dedicated professional who understands the joys and demands of teaching, with at least two years’ teaching experience (preferred). Teachers are expected to develop daily lessons that meet the goals of the classes, complete grading, maintain an advisory group and lead advisory group meetings, as well as perform all basic administrative duties (ex. maintain attendance records, accurate grade book, comment writing). The mission of the Catholic school is to “Teach as Jesus did,” thereby mandating teachers in our schools to be reflections of Christ’s love and concern. The Classroom Teacher plans, guides, and evaluates the learning process of students. This position reports to the assistant principal and has decision-making responsibilities within the framework of school policies, philosophy, organization, and curriculum.
