About The Position

Teacher Aide – Preschool Location: Onsite, Multiple locations in Stamford, CT Job Type: Full-time; 35–40 hours weekly depending on location (schedules are typically early mornings to mid-afternoons). Supervise and engage young children. Support daily classroom routines and transitions. Help maintain a safe, healthy, and clean learning environment. Partner and communicate with families. Observe and document children’s interests and progress. Collaborate with co-teachers, support staff, and administrators.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age with a High School Diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

  • Work towards a CDA credential or coursework in Early Childhood Education.
  • Strong desire to work with young children and their families.
  • Willingness to pursue ongoing professional development in early childhood, such as internal CLC training and OEC courses.
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Levels of experience will be a key factor in candidate selection.
  • Basic computer literacy.
