The Fontana Unified School District is seeking candidates who are fluent in American Sign Language and possess a valid California Driver's License. Candidates must demonstrate Highly Qualified status through specific educational requirements. These include possession of a High School Diploma or equivalent, along with one of the following: completion of two years of higher education study (48 semester units or 72 quarter units), possession of an Associate's degree or higher, or passage of a Fontana Unified School District (FUSD) approved Paraprofessional Exam or possession of an FUSD approved Paraprofessional Certificate. If candidates do not meet these requirements, the district offers assistance to qualify through the ESSA/NCLB testing opportunity.
