About The Position
Provides appropriate physical education activities/program as determined by ARD committee to students with disabilities to promote the optimum development of the child's skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Valid Texas teaching certificate
- Adaptive P.E. certification or endorsements in Special Education and/or P.E.
- Demonstrate ability to evaluate gross motor skills of individual students through use of appropriate assessments.
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience in teaching gross motor, perceptual motor and sensory motor development activities to multi-involved special education student population.
- Demonstrate ability to communicate successfully with parents and school staff.
