LICENSED VACANCY Position is for the 2026-2027 school year POSITION: Teacher, 4th Grade LOCATION: 1200 East 78th Avenue, Denver, CO 80229 - Welby Community School of the Arts PAY RANGE: Licensed Salary Schedule, $60,004 - $124,634 Annual Salary CALENDAR: 190 Days REPORTS TO: School Director/Principal SCHOOL DESIGN OVERVIEW: Welby Community School of the Arts, PK-6, is an Expeditionary Learning (EL) school that uses the arts to inspire a love for learning and build a solid foundation for future academic success in each child. Responsibilities

• Providing developmentally appropriate activities using a variety of materials and resources for children to explore and manipulate in order to meet the physical, emotional, cognitive, and social needs of the children.
• Providing a Balanced Literacy program to build foundational literacy and language skills based on Expeditionary Learning Curriculum modules.
• Planning and implementing an active and engaging integrated content block to build background knowledge in science and social studies while strengthening literacy skills.
• Implementing a variety of screening and assessment tools appropriate for young children.
• Planning and implementing differentiated strategies to meet the academic and language needs of each child.
• Establishing and consistently maintaining standards of conduct that promote personal responsibility and reflect respect for self and others.
