About The Position

The job is for a 2nd Grade Teacher at Meadow Community School, a PK-8 Nature and Science school. In grades 6-8, students deepen their knowledge through Project Lead the Way courses, nationally recognized STEM curricula, for coding and robotics, flight and space, energy and the environment, computer science for innovators and makers, and more. The position is for the 2026-2027 school year.

Requirements

Colorado teaching license with an appropriate Elementary endorsement required.
K-3 teachers must provide documentation of evidence-based literacy training, Read Act Designation, per CDE requirements.
Completing two mandatory Title IX training courses within 30 days of your date of hire and are required to be completed on your own time.

Nice To Haves

Additional endorsement in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education preferred, or willingness to pursue endorsement or equivalent coursework.

Collaborating with administrators, instructional guide, and colleagues to provide a responsive and supportive environment for all learners.
Demonstrating and holding high expectations for all students to succeed.
Demonstrating a willingness and ability to meet the diverse needs of learners (including students with special needs, at-risk, linguistically, and culturally diverse) by adjusting curriculum and working cooperatively with other staff.
