About The Position
Develops lesson plans to address those needs to include individualized training for assignments Provides necessary instruction for Adult Basic Education/General Education Development program Administers necessary tests Evaluate inmates provides necessary direction for inmates Mains discipline and/or security of instructional area Attends education meetings, unit staff meetings and in-service training Prepares required records and reports Mains inventory and orders supplies and materials needed Performs other education and/or related duties as requested by education administrators Performs other duties as required on assignment
Requirements
- Applicants who possess a Baccalaureate degree & an Adult Educator four year permit and/or are eligible to receive a four-year permit from the Ohio Department of Education, may be considered.
- Any current Teacher Certificate appropriate grade level to be assigned; Teacher 1, 71721, must also have baccalaureate degree or less
