About The Position

The Mortgage Servicing Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with client policies and federal regulations by analyzing loans and servicing practices. This position requires a strong understanding of servicing standards and the ability to balance production and quality expectations effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • 1+ years of relevant industry experience required.
  • Experience with forensic and/or audit file reviews on loss mitigation, default servicing, and foreclosure documents.
  • 1+ years of Default, Foreclosure, REO, Modification, and Loss Mitigation experience.
  • 1+ years of Flood Insurance experience related to mortgage servicing preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of servicer systems and documentation involved in the default process.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent PC skills, including experience with Fidelity, Foreclosure Processing Systems, LPS Desktop, VendorScape, and MERS.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze loans using servicing systems and documentation for compliance with client policies and federal regulations.
  • Review servicing practices for loans in Bankruptcy to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Review court filings for compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Control team to apply feedback and achieve departmental goals.
  • Identify compliance issues and document findings to communicate to the Client via Appian.
  • Understand the default process and conduct quality control audits of affidavits and documents.
  • Review foreclosure documents for accuracy of information.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
