About The Position

The TDR Team Lead (Desktop Support Lead) is responsible for coordinating and leading a team of hardware technicians in the testing and deployment of EPIC capable devices in preparation for the Epic Go-Live at Trinity Health locations. This role involves hands-on technical support, site visits, and ensuring that all devices function correctly according to established workflows. The lead will oversee daily operations, manage escalations, and report metrics to TDR leadership.

Requirements

• Prior experience with supporting Epic implementations.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong attention to punctuality and adherence.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 3-5 hardware technicians.
• Review and distribute the testing locations and goals for each day.
• Support the team with any real-time escalations (e.g., printer mapping, alignment fixes).
• Create and modify the team's Excel worksheets.
• Report daily metrics and completed work to TDR leadership.
• Test workstations and peripheral devices using Epic software modules and executing Epic test scripts.
• Provide detailed information on each failed workstation or device for troubleshooting and resolution.
• Follow up and retest assigned issues.
• Assist with Epic device readiness activities (e.g., device labeling).
• Perform end-user device testing at campus locations as directed.
• Occasionally interact with clinicians to clarify device use related to clinical workflows.
