TDOC Instructor

T3i Inc.Navarre, FL

About The Position

The mission of the Tactical Drone Operator Course (TDOC) is to train individuals/teams in the incorporation of small drones into Small Unit Tactics and Immediate Action Drills in order to increase lethality and to improve defense and survivability.  Drone Operators at the team level need to be familiar with basic drone operations, tactical flying considerations, and the employment of munitions from small drones.  Team members must be familiar with individual drone tactics as well as integration into drone swarm and sustained attack strategies and concepts. This course is not designed to establish SOP’s or TTP’s, but rather to present sound tactics and concepts that can be incorporated/modified/adjusted at the unit level. T3i is seeking part-time Instructors for forecasted growth supporting the TDOC Course in Baker Florida (Altus Shooting Range).  TDOC trains individuals/teams from basic flying fundamentals, tactical flying, and the employment of munitions in Full Mission Profiles via offensive and defensive scenarios.  Daily activities include classroom teaching, briefing of training events, field training to groups/individuals, flight demonstrations, spot training/corrections, training evaluation on skill tasks, and providing performance feedback.  Applicants should be comfortable with the challenges of building and refining a new program.  We are looking for individuals with a creative and adaptive mindset who thrive in dynamic work environments. This role will require an experienced, dependable professional, experienced in Small Unit Tactics, who is capable of growing a new program and continually seeking ways to improve and advance the training curriculum.  Most of the training is conducted outdoors, so instructors should be comfortable working in elements that can range from extreme heat and high humidity in the summer, and temperatures down to, and possibly slightly below freezing, in the winter.
