About The Position

The Threat Data Analysis Center (TDAC) is the communications hub for all security and safety needs. The TDAC Analysts are responsible for access control, service requests, alarm monitoring, investigation, emergency response, escalation, deployment, and notification. The TDAC Analyst performs A.I.-assisted alarm response and escalation, working with internal and external teams, and must ensure that all actions taken, the information given, and the information received are documented appropriately. This is an in-office role based at our Redwood City, CA headquarters: 555 Twin Dolphin Drive, Suite 610, Redwood City, CA 94065 Hours are Saturday and Sunday from 11:30 PM - 7:30 AM

Responsibilities

  • Answer all forms of communication, including but not limited to phone, e-mail, text, radio, etc.
  • Analyze both raw and processed security event data to identify potential security incidents, threats, and vulnerabilities
  • Communicate effectively with the internal and external teams at the facility to ensure business continuity. Monitor and respond to notifications and alarms from all sources in a timely fashion
  • Interface with and, at times, manage others in a highly professional setting. Report issues or events utilizing appropriate tools.
  • Address security/emergency, or other critical operations appropriately. Contacting and communicating with local or remote Emergency Services providers
  • Research threats and establish responses and best practices for site-specific operations
  • Document and report incidents or issues related to, but not limited to, security and safety
  • Work with internal engineering teams to assist in data collection and product testing
  • Establish efficient workflows and practices for new tools based on the evolving needs and capabilities
