About The Position

Securitas Security Services USA Inc. is seeking Security Event Officers for TD Garden in Boston. The starting pay is $18.00 per hour, with a schedule primarily based on events occurring at night and on weekends, generally from 5:00 PM to 11:30 PM. Event Officers will have the opportunity to work at home games for the Celtics and Bruins, concerts, comedic shows, WWE/UFC events, ice shows, graduation ceremonies, and much more.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Possess a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to speak, read and write English
• Able to pass a criminal background check & drug screening
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Security knowledge or customer service related skills (1 year)

Responsibilities

• Crowd control to ensure patrons are following appropriate policies
• Maintain a positive environment for all guests
• Assist Boston Police Department in emergency situations at the event
• Monitor entrances and exits to prevent unapproved or unlawful entry
• Check bags to ensure weapons or unauthorized paraphernalia don't enter venue
• Attend training and Event Staff meetings as required
• Conduct periodic patrols as assigned
• Carry out other job functions / duties as assigned
