Responsibilities

• Performs assigned duties of geriatric resident care
• Assists with activities of daily living
• Completes related tasks at Nursing Assistant level under the direct supervision of a nurse

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent highly desirable
• Must be 18 years of age (exception: special high school program)
• Successful completion of 80 hour Nurse Aide Course as certified by State of PA
• Successfully completes the introductory/probationary period
• Must be able to read, write and take verbal direction
• Must be flexible with scheduling
• Demonstrates sensitivity to residents' emotional, social, mental health and spiritual needs
