  • Elicit and document business needs and requirements for new systems and enhancements to existing systems.
  • Conduct peer reviews of requirements and statements of work for high-priority IT projects.
  • Perform complex analysis and coordinate legislative responses related to Information Technology resources planning.
  • Monitor project artifacts according to documented change management processes and identify potential project risks.
  • Provide oversight of projects, assignments, and quality assurance; work on special initiatives and projects as assigned.
  • Lead and/or participate in developing action plans for projects or programs to follow established policies and processes.
  • Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA) plus two years of full-time experience in business process analysis or IT project management.
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP).
  • Six years of full-time experience in business process analysis or IT project management.
  • A master's degree in a related field plus three years of required experience.
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field plus four years of required experience.
  • Completion of 18 semester hours in a related field plus five years of required experience.
  • Experience creating system/software requirements documents, use cases, test plans, and diagrams.
  • Experience with legislative bill analysis and/or as a Bill Coordinator.
  • Experience creating project management documents such as charters, status reports, and project plans.
