About The Position

Certain roles at Tyson require background checks. Job Details: Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pick-up according to the schedule. Tasks include wrapping, labeling, packing, stacking, handling boxes as needed, and loading/unloading products using a powered pallet jack and/or forklift. The job is fast-paced, requiring constant standing, walking, or operating powered equipment. Must also be willing to work with computers, including operating systems. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Must be able to stack between 500 and 1000 units twice a week. Must be willing to work in a cold and damp environment with temperatures ranging from -10 to 34 degrees. Some lifting will be required with up to a 100 pounds occasional. Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson have a 180 days rehire waiting period and a 3 time limit. Hours: Monday to Friday, 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM.

Requirements

• Six months of forklift experience in the last 12 months.
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Willingness to work in a cold and damp environment with temperatures ranging from -10 to 34 degrees.
• Ability to stack between 500 and 1000 units twice a week.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pick-up according to the schedule.
• Wrap, label, pack, and stack products as needed.
• Handle boxes and load/unload products using a powered pallet jack and/or forklift.
• Operate powered equipment in a fast-paced environment.
