The position involves preparing and completing orders for delivery or pick-up according to the schedule. Key tasks include wrapping, labeling, packing, stacking, handling boxes as needed, and loading/unloading products using a powered pallet jack and/or forklift. The job is fast-paced, requiring constant standing, walking, or operating powered equipment. Candidates must also be willing to work with computers, including operating systems. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Additionally, candidates must be able to stack between 500 and 1000 units twice a week and work in a cold and damp environment with temperatures ranging from -10 to 34 degrees. Some lifting will be required, with occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds. Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson have a 180 days rehire waiting period and a 3-time limit. The work hours are Monday to Friday, from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM.
