About The Position

The Therapy Development Specialist (TDS) is a clinically focused ambassador for TCAR (Transcarotid Artery Revascularization), a proven hybrid procedure to treat carotid artery disease. As part of the commercial field team, this role executes therapy adoption initiatives to drive safe implementation, superior clinical outcomes and revenue growth for the ENROUTE Transcarotid Neuroprotection System, ENROUTE Transcarotid Stent System and related products. The TDS serves as a trusted clinical partner to physicians and health care professionals, demonstrating strong case acumen and relationship management skills. This individual acts as a clinical role model across the TDS team while supporting territory growth and customer excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant clinical experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years' clinical, medical device or related experience in a hospital environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex clinical information clearly and effectively.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of imaging modalities including duplex ultrasound, catheter angiography, CTA and MRA, as well as EKG interpretation, procedural hemodynamics and ancillary procedural solutions.
  • Ability to understand complex medical device technologies and communicate their clinical value to diverse audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with health care providers, key opinion leaders and decision-makers.
  • Demonstrated flexibility in navigating a dynamic clinical and commercial environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and clinical support during ENROUTE Transcarotid Neuroprotection System and ENROUTE Transcarotid Stent System procedures to ensure safe adoption and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Educate procedural teams on appropriate patient selection and clinical indications for TCAR.
  • Support case scheduling and deliver responsive customer service, resolving concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure effective territory coverage and time management to maximize account support and clinical presence.
  • Participate in physician training programs, product development initiatives and ongoing professional development activities.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive clinical and technical knowledge of TCAR and related technologies.
  • Manage inventory, submit accurate expense reports and report device complaints in compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain consistent communication with Boston Scientific sales and leadership teams, providing market intelligence and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Plan and deliver effective clinical and product presentations to customers.
