The Scheduling Assistant manages daily evaluation and loading of incoming orders to achieve optimal on-time delivery. This role involves slotting incoming orders within established capacity constraints for production plans, determining material availability for daily schedules, and adjusting schedules accordingly to ensure manufacturing efficiencies. The Scheduling Assistant will develop, maintain, and communicate daily production plans to the purchasing department and manufacturing supervisors, as well as communicate daily production plans and update ship dates via EDI to Arhaus' Special Order & Stock Order Teams. Additionally, the role includes preparing production tickets and job jackets for manufacturing, actively supporting the implementation of new processes and process improvements, and providing inputs to or generating ad-hoc reports while participating in cross-functional teams and projects as required.
