About The Position

Responsible for trading assigned fixed income securities within approved policies. Communicate market related information to salesforce and management as directed. Management of position in the context of the market within approved policies. Generation of new trade ideas with the sales team. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

MINIMUM: Understanding of Fixed Income Markets
Ability for analytical thinking
Ability to solve complex problems.
Ability to work on a team.
Ability to multi-task and achieve desired results.
Applicable computer skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products
MINIMUM: Bachelor's degree or 4 years relevant work experience
Knowledge and understanding of financial markets.
Have appropriate licenses (i.e. FINRA Series 7 & 63), or obtain within 6 months after hire date.

Nice To Haves

PREFERRED: Knowledge and understanding of fixed income securities.
Familiarity with Bloomberg and the eTOMS format.
PREFERRED: Appropriate licenses (i.e., FINRA Series 7 & 63)
Prior Trading Desk Experience
