The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Tax Strategy Manager to join our Shared Services team. This individual will oversee all aspects of tax compliance, planning, and reporting across a multi-entity organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with external CPAs and internal stakeholders. Summary of Essential Job Functions: Must be based in Phoenix, Arizona Ensure timely and accurate filing of all federal, state, and local tax returns, including property, personal property, and sales and use tax. Partner with external CPAs on the preparation and review of corporate and personal tax returns. Develop and implement proactive tax strategies to minimize liability and optimize the companys overall tax position. Prepare and present monthly taxable income reports for multiple entities, monitoring GAAP vs. tax differences. Prepare annual tax provisions in accordance with applicable accounting standards, ensuring accuracy in financial disclosures. Manage and coordinate tax audits with external auditors and tax authorities, addressing issues efficiently and professionally. Monitor legislative and regulatory changes to assess potential impact and advise leadership accordingly. Identify and implement opportunities for improving tax processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. Compensation and Schedule Salary: $120,000 to $130,000 depending on experience Schedule : Hybrid role. Training requires Monday-Thursday in-office presence, after which the position shifts to a flexible hybrid schedule as you grow into the role. Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or Masters in Taxation preferred).
  • 57 years of progressive tax and accounting experience (healthcare industry experience preferred).
  • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws and compliance requirements.
