About The Position

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Staff Accountant to join our Home Office Accounting team. In this role, you’ll support tax compliance and reporting across the organization while gaining exposure to a wide range of accounting and regulatory functions. Requirements

• 1+ years of accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• High attention to detail with the ability to maintain confidentiality
• Sense of urgency balanced with professionalism
• Desire to learn, improve processes, and grow within an accounting career

Nice To Haves

• Experience with business licenses, personal property tax, or multi-location compliance is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Complete general tax and compliance responsibilities for the organization
• Apply for and renew state and local business licenses across multiple locations
• File business personal property tax returns
• File and remit monthly sales and use tax
• Complete wage verifications and respond to agency requests
• Weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual withholding filings
• Quarterly unemployment filings and state unemployment requests
• Reporting and payment of unclaimed wages
• Quarterly estimated tax payments
