About The Position
The Tax Senior will serve a broad mix of clients across varied industries while supporting the continued growth of the firm’s Raleigh tax practice and benefiting from significant long-term career opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Master’s preferred.
- CPA certification or active progress toward licensure.
- 3+ years of public accounting experience.
- Strong review experience.
- Proficiency with spreadsheet tools; experience with ProSystem fx, CCH, RIA, or Engagement is a plus.
- Strong project management, leadership skills, urgency, and commitment to exceptional client service.
Responsibilities
- Review federal and multi-state tax returns, particularly for flow-through entities.
- Conduct tax research using online tools.
- Perform general accounting duties as needed on engagements.
- Train and mentor Staff Accountants.
- Communicate effectively with managers, partners, and clients.
