Johnson County Treasury, Taxation and Vehicles (TTV) is currently seeking qualified candidates to join our County Clerk and Register of Deeds division as the Tax Roll Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity for an administrative professional with an interest in utilizing geographic information systems, research and interpretation of legal documents, and mapping of legal descriptions. The County Clerk and Register of Deeds team is responsible for maintaining an accurate record of property ownership along with a map of all taxing unit boundaries to create the county's annual tax roll which totals more than $1.8 billion. The team interprets legal descriptions and updates property or taxing unit boundaries accordingly, identifies and corrects errors and inconsistencies in official records, and explains property transfer policies to key stakeholders.
