About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Individual tax return preparation experience ideal, but not required
• Knowledge of basic accounting concepts involved in tax return preparation preferred
• Adaptable to new technology and ability to work in a paperless environment
• Keen sense of accuracy and attention to detail
• Demonstrated critical thinking and well-developed problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently
• Professional demeanor and ability to handle matters confidentially
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Basic Excel skills required
• Experience with Adobe Acrobat preferred
• Ability to obtain PTIN during initial onboarding and training weeks
• Availability to work a minimum of 30 hours per week Monday-Friday between the hours 8am-8pm your local time

• Experience with tax preparation software
• Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance

Responsibilities

• Enter personal client data and financial information into tax preparation software
• Prepare tax returns in accordance with firm policies, ensuring information is accurately represented
• Adhere to the firm's written tax practice standards and the firm's 1040 procedure manual
• Ensure client confidentiality by following all company procedures regarding information handling
