About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Tax Manager to join our growing team in Kendall, FL. This role is ideal for a seasoned tax professional with deep international tax expertise, proven leadership capabilities, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality client service.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s in Taxation strongly preferred)
  • CPA license required (Enrolled Agent acceptable if paired with significant international tax experience)
  • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish (verbal and written communication required)
  • Minimum 6–8 years of international tax experience (strict requirement), including experience managing engagements and reviewing complex returns
  • Strong technical knowledge of international tax compliance and planning
  • Demonstrated leadership and people-management experience
  • Proficiency with tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines, work independently, and lead within a collaborative team environment

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s in Taxation strongly preferred
  • Enrolled Agent acceptable if paired with significant international tax experience

Responsibilities

  • Manage and review complex U.S. tax returns with a strong emphasis on international tax matters for individuals, corporations, and partnerships
  • Lead international tax compliance and planning engagements, including foreign tax credit calculations, Subpart F income, GILTI, PFICs, and other cross-border tax issues
  • Conduct and supervise international tax research; prepare and review technical memoranda and supporting documentation
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing strategic tax advice and proactive solutions tailored to their international tax needs
  • Oversee multiple tax engagements simultaneously, ensuring timely completion, technical accuracy, and adherence to firm standards
  • Monitor changes in U.S. and international tax laws and assess their impact on clients; communicate and implement relevant updates
  • Manage, mentor, and develop junior and senior-level staff, including reviewing work, providing feedback, and supporting professional growth
  • Collaborate with firm leadership on process improvements, workflow management, and client relationship development
