EisnerAmper is seeking a Tax Manager to join the Private Client Services (PCS) practice. We are looking for a dynamic individual with the capacity to efficiently oversee multiple client engagements while demonstrating proficiency in reviewing complex returns, managing staff and conducting research. Furthermore, the ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and the aptitude to foster professional growth among our staff. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent field is required
  • 5+ years of tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience in public accounting or public/Corporate mix
  • Active CPA license or IRS Enrolled Agent Certification required

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree in Taxation or relevant field
  • Experience using GoSystems or CCH Axcess tax software

Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, supervise, and mentor associates and seniors, providing ongoing feedback and supporting their professional growth
  • Prepare and review complex tax returns for closely held corporations, S-corporations and partnerships, as well as related high-net-worth individuals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws
  • Deliver proactive tax planning and consulting services to owners of closely held businesses
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to entrepreneurial families and business owners, building long-term client relationships and delivering integrated PCS solutions
  • Analyze client financials and engage in meaningful inquiries to ensure accurate transaction recording and deepen understanding of each client’s business
  • Demonstrate proficiency in accounting (debits/credits) is essential to be able to assist our clients in these areas
  • Manage multiple client engagements, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met
  • Stay informed on tax law and regulatory changes affecting closely held entities and private clients, and apply insights to planning opportunities
  • Collaborate with other PCS tax professionals and firm leaders to deliver seamless client service and identify tax-saving opportunities
  • Participate in business development, including expanding relationships with existing clients, cultivating new client opportunities, and representing the firm at client and networking events
  • Contribute to thought leadership and firm initiatives focused on entrepreneurial, family-owned, and closely held businesses
  • Engage in ongoing professional development by staying current on emerging tax issues affecting closely held businesses and high-net-worth individuals, and sharing insights with clients and team members
