About The Position

Prepare and manage corporate income tax compliance for accurate and timely reporting. Assist in preparation of the annual and quarterly income tax provision (ASC 740) including analyses, journal entries, calculations, and footnote disclosures. Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and SOX. Manage, coordinate, and facilitate various projects such as R&D tax credit study and tax audits with specialty groups and foreign offices. Prepare and review indirect tax processing and reporting such as sales & use tax, franchise/gross receipts tax, and property tax. Manage international filings/transfer pricing and coordinate financial audit for foreign entities. Conduct tax research, resolve tax issues, and make recommendations to minimize tax burden. Support other internal departments on tax related matters. Adopt new software implementation and processing changes.

Requirements

  • You have a minimum education level of Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
  • You have a minimum 5 years of relevant experience with Big 4. Experience at a large corporate tax is a plus.
  • You are an active CPA or enrolled agent.
  • You have diligent work ethics and provide superior service.
  • You have a solid accounting and tax background.
  • You have the ability to prepare interim and annual financial statements, including adjusting journal entries.
  • You possess integrity and are trustworthy, dependable, and a team player with a cooperative attitude.
  • You have proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience with SAP is a plus.
  • You have the ability to efficiently supervise, adapt to, and work with staff with varying skill sets and personality types.
  • You possess strong communication and interpersonal skills while emphasizing the importance of working as a team and upholding individual responsibilities.
  • You have strong organization, problem -solving, and analytical skills.
