As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Tax Manager based in the Philadelphia, PA area or in Texas. Under the direction of the Head of Tax, the Tax Manager will manage overall tax compliance, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local laws, as well as supervise the tax reporting, and controls functions, using both internal and external resources and service providers.

Requirements

  • Bachelors’ degree in Accounting, with MS in taxation preferred.
  • 7 or more years of tax accounting experience ideally in renewable energy or infrastructure.
  • Deep knowledge of corporate taxation, partnership taxation and tax reporting.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Public accounting experience and CPA accreditation preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain appropriate documentation for preparation of corporate income tax returns, estimates and other filings.
  • Prepare, manage and coordinate tax return deadlines and documentation
  • Ensure timely processing of all tax payments, including quarterly Federal estimated payments.
  • Coordinate and facilitate preparation and review of tax provision, HLBV and reporting with 3rd party independent accountants.
  • Prepare the income tax provision footnote and related disclosures for inclusion in financial statements, ensuring compliance with ASC 740 and applicable GAAP and IFRS requirements.
  • Develop, maintain and document Sarbanes Oxley compliant procedures and processes to minimize global tax risks.
  • Supervises 0-3 employees
