About The Position

We are a CPA firm established in Coral Gables, FL. Our client base includes construction and real estate, aviation, auto dealerships, retail & wholesalers, professional services, international investors & entrepreneurs, and high net worth individuals. We are looking for an experienced senior associate who is ready to step outside of the normal accounting firm box.

Requirements

• Proficiency in individual, corporate, partnership, and fiduciary tax returns
• Advanced accounting, analytical, and research skills
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly
• Must be fluent in English; Spanish fluency preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Master's in Taxation preferred)
• CPA license required or in progress
• 5+ years of progressive experience in public accounting with a focus on tax

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Practice CS and UltraTax is a plus

Responsibilities

• Manage and review complex individual (1040) and business (1120, 1120S, 1065, 1041) tax returns
• Develop and implement strategic tax planning for clients across various industries
• Provide technical tax guidance and support to the team
• Oversee client engagements from start to finish, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, identifying opportunities to reduce tax liabilities and support long-term growth
• Support team development through coaching, mentorship, and training
• Stay current on tax law changes and ensure firm-wide compliance practices remain up to date
