About The Position

Kforce's client, a local public accounting firm, is looking for an experienced Tax Manager in Phoenix, AZ. The Tax Manager will oversee the delivery of high-quality tax compliance and advisory services for a diverse client base, including individuals, corporations, and partnerships. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in reviewing and preparing S-Corp, C-Corp, individual, and partnership returns. This role involves managing client relationships, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, and mentoring junior staff.

Requirements

• 5+ years of tax experience
• Experience with S-Corp, C-Corp, individual, and partnership returns
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to clients clearly

Nice To Haves

• CPA or Master's in Tax preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage and review the preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
• Provide proactive tax planning and advisory services to help clients minimize tax liabilities and maximize financial opportunities
• Manage client relationships and ensure compliance
• Conduct thorough research on complex tax issues and provide well-documented conclusions and recommendations
• Stay current on tax law changes and communicate their implications to clients and staff
