About The Position

Tax Manager - Warrendale, PA (Greater Pittsburg) Who: A seasoned tax professional with strong technical expertise and the ability to manage multiple complex engagements. What: Lead tax planning, consulting, and compliance work while mentoring staff and serving as the primary client contact. When: Hiring immediately to support the expanding Warrendale, PA market. Position Overview: The Tax Manager will lead multiple client engagements, review complex tax returns, deliver strategic tax planning, and support staff development while maintaining and enhancing strong client relationships across a wide range of industries and entity types.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Active CPA license required.
  • 5+ years of recent public accounting tax experience.
  • Strong knowledge of IRS regulations and tax authority standards.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
  • Proficiency with tax software and strong overall technical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple tax engagements, providing strategic planning, consulting, and compliance guidance.
  • Prepare and review complex returns for high-net-worth individuals, corporations, partnerships, estates, trusts, and nonprofit organizations.
  • Review staff work for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to budgets.
  • Collaborate with managers and partners to maintain and grow client relationships.
  • Mentor and coach tax staff at various levels.
  • Resolve technical tax issues and respond to inquiries from the IRS and state tax authorities.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of client deliverables.
  • Identify additional client needs and introduce relevant firm services.
