About The Position

Our client is making its first strategic hire within its tax function and is seeking a Tax Manager (Hybrid) to build and oversee tax operations. This role will be highly impactful, offering the opportunity to shape tax strategy, processes, and compliance from the ground up.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Tax (CPA or MST preferred)
• 5+ years of broad tax experience with a strong focus on partnership tax
• Experience working with outsourced tax functions and external advisors
• Deep knowledge of pass-through taxation and multi-entity structures
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Lead tax compliance efforts across partnership and pass-through entities
• Manage relationship with external tax advisors and outsourced providers
• Oversee preparation and review of partnership, individual, and business tax filings
• Provide guidance on tax planning, structuring, and risk mitigation
• Support audits, notices, and tax inquiries
• Develop internal tax processes and controls
• Advise leadership on tax implications related to transactions and growth initiatives
