About The Position

Rehmann is seeking a talented Tax Manager to join our Northern Michigan team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the Firm's success by building relationships internally to foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration. You will provide a “wow” experience to every client and contribute to the success of our clients' organizations. Your responsibilities will include managing the preparation of a broad range of individual, corporate, and other entity tax returns, conducting tax research to develop solutions for our clients' complex and/or unique situations, and providing direction and new challenges to associates on your team. You will also be responsible for teaching and developing associates, mentoring them as they navigate their career paths, and participating in activities to grow the firm and generate business with new clients. Additionally, you will identify opportunities to introduce other Rehmann specialists to existing clients and make a difference in the communities where you live and work.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of relevant tax experience in public accounting or industry
  • CPA license required; MST a plus
  • Outstanding client service and communication skills
  • Desire to develop unique business solutions in a team-based environment
  • Passion for coaching others to higher levels of performance
