About The Position

The IronSpire Group at Crowe provides a collection of boutique services to America’s most affluent families, their entities, and investment and estate planning vehicles. Our multidisciplinary team delivers tailored strategies that navigate both domestic and cross-border tax challenges.
We are seeking a Tax Manager with deep expertise in estate, gift, and trust tax planning and compliance. This individual will play a key role in advising clients, managing sophisticated engagements, and supporting the continued growth and leadership of the IronSpire Group.

Requirements

• Education & Credentials: CPA or JD required.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in public accounting, law, or a family office environment.
• Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in estate, gift, and trust taxation, including complex and cross-jurisdictional issues.
• Client Relationship Skills: Proven ability to proactively identify client needs, resolve challenges, and build long-term trusted relationships.
• Collaboration: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a commitment to teamwork and mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Technical Expertise: Deliver high-level tax consulting, compliance, and controversy support for complex estate, gift, and trust matters affecting ultra-high-net-worth clients.
• Engagement Leadership: Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while maintaining a focus on exceptional client service and technical excellence.
• Risk Management: Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risk issues related to estate, gift, and trust tax engagements.
• Firm Standards: Maintain full awareness and compliance with Crowe’s quality standards, methodologies, and policies.
• Thought Leadership: Contribute to the firm’s reputation through speaking engagements, authorship, and professional education efforts.
