About The Position

At PwC, our people in tax services focus on providing advice and guidance to clients on tax planning, compliance, and strategy. These individuals help businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimise their tax positions. Those in tax compliance at PwC will focus on validating clients' compliance with tax laws and regulations. You will review and analyse financial data, prepare and file tax returns, and assist businesses in meeting their tax obligations while minimising risks of non-compliance. Driven by curiosity, you are a reliable, contributing member of a team. The Opportunity As part of the PwC Private team you are expected to support various client service activities. As an Intern/Trainee you are expected to support teams, observe and learn, and participate in projects, focusing on gaining exposure to PwC practices and methodologies. You are expected to perform basic tasks and conduct research while observing professional work environments, contributing to the team's success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • Required cumulative GPA: 3.0
  • Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate (i.e., read, write, speak) with business level fluency in Japanese and English.
