This position will operate in a hybrid work environment, 3 days per week in the office (Philadelphia, PA).

Requirements

• Accounting/business majors preferred.
• Microsoft Word required.
• Microsoft Excel-intermediate to advanced level experience required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Acquire practical and theoretical knowledge of tax issues related to trusts.
• Review and adjust year-end tax information including amortization and option transactions.
• Partner with trust advisors on 65-day distributions for complex trusts.
• Assist with processing and other administrative duties related to filing and tracking of tax returns.
• Assist with special projects related to the client relationship management system.
• Assist the Tax team with assigned projects and tax-related duties.
• Assist with research of tax laws, rules, and regulations in relation to specific situations.
• Attend educational sessions within the department on key tax topics.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
